Bishop Archie Hopkins Jr.
Prelate of Togo West Africa

Bishop Archie Ray Hopkins Jr. was born in Portland, Oregon, the third son to Bishop and Mrs. Archie R. Hopkins Sr. After graduating high school, he began his career in restaurant management. At the age of 19, he had become a restaurant manager. In his early twenties he joined a Fortune 500 company and quickly moved up within the company, became the area of manager of seven restaurants in Oregon and Washington and later became a Concept Developer for the same company.
Bishop Hopkins Jr. was saved under his father’s ministry and acknowledged his call shortly after. He worked diligently serving in all levels of ministry in the local church and jurisdiction. In 1997 Bishop A.R. Hopkins Sr. appointed him as the senior pastor of Victory Temple Ministries in Portland, Oregon. The ministry extended across the seas to Kumasi Ghana, Africa establishing a daughter church, Victory Temple Ministries International COGIC, in 2005.  God gave increase again in 2008 and another daughter church was established in Zombo Lawra, Ghana, Africa. That same year God called for a second campus, a new church to be birthed in Vancouver, Washington. The ministry name was also changed in the United States from Victory Temple Ministries COGIC to New Direction Community Church COGIC.

In 2012 Superintendent Hopkins had the honor of being appointed Director of Missions for the country of TOGO West Africa, by Bishop Carlis Moody, Sr., International President-Department of Missions C.O.G.I.C. In 2016 Bishop Hopkins was consecrated as the Prelate of the TOGO West Africa Jurisdiction; consisting of 55 church’s and their congregations. Bishop Hopkins Jr. is married to his high school sweetheart Stacey Hopkins for 34 years. God has blessed them with three adult children, Nicole Hopkins, Christopher Hopkins, Kendra Roberts, son-in-law Kevin Roberts and six grandchildren. Bishop Hopkins Jr. is driven by his call to redirect and refocus the body of Christ back to the directive of the “Great Commission” of saving souls. His passion is to support and develop pastors and leaders by encouraging them to “seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Matt 6:33), through conferences and crusades throughout the world. He strives to equip the body to be strategic and prepared to fulfill our purpose to win souls for the kingdom of God.
